New Apple iPad Shipping Delay: Two Week Wait

For those of you who have yet to pre-order your Apple iPad – then chances are you will not be able to order one for another two weeks. It seems that Apple have no more iPad tablets left, which is why there will be a delay with shipping on new orders.
Those with an April 3 shipping date are still safe – just try not to gloat in front of those who now have to wait. All three versions of the Wi-Fi only model will begin shipping again on April 12. Apple still insists that the 3G iPad will ship by the end of April.
We recently mentioned that if sales of the iPad kept up at the current rate, then it could end up outselling the original iPhone in its first three months. Apple Insider picks up on the fact at how much buzz is surrounding the iPad – we just hope it continues when people actually take procession of the tablet devices.
