Tata Motors was a little known company not so long ago, but with the acquisition of Land Rover and Aston Martin they have been put on the map. And Tata’s Nano is the talking point at the moment due to its super low price of around $2,500 which will give many buyers in India a cheaper mode of transport.
According to AutoBlog, Hyundai is working on a microcar to challenge the Nano with a price tag equivalent to $4,400.
The 800cc petrol engine H800 project is said to be priced between Suzuki’s Alto and the Nano, and reportedly due to be a working prototype for testing mid 2010. Although there is no official confirmation from Hyundai about the H800, the rendered pictures from Indian Autos Blog show a very nice looking little car.
