Line2 iPhone App improves on AT&T coverage

Do you have an iPhone and live in the U.S.? The chances are, you have been unhappy with the service that AT&T provides. There are those who anxiously await the arrival of the Verizon iPhone with its better coverage – but do not be too hasty as the Line2 App is about to become a game-changing app.

The app is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch and will make calls over Wi-Fi and 3G – maker Toktumi claims that the application will help save you money as well offering you better coverage with calls.

There is one issue with this though; you are still relying on the AT&T 3G network – so expect some patchy areas. The Line2 app is clever in that way that it separates the phone into two lines – giving you a different number to the one that AT&T provides.

Tech Crunch explains that the features on this new app are very similar to the Google Voice – you know, the one that Apple banned. If you would like to learn more about the Line2 App, then please head over to The Huffington Post
