Sony’s new iPhone headphones better than Apples

Sony has just announced and unveiled a new pair of iPhone / iPod headphones that they say offer much better sound quality than the standard ones that Apple offer in the box.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the new headphones are the MDR-EX300iP and MDR-E10iP respectively, which both will be available from May onwards this year.
The useful thing about the 13.5mm Neodymium driver-equipped headsets, is that they both feature a handy remote control and microphone – so if you use these for your iPhone, they will double up as a hands-free kit too.
What do you think about these? No word on price yet, but we’ll update you when we know. Are your iPod earbuds in need of an upgrade?
