Mafia II: Release date for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

We have some good news for all of you planning to pick up the sequel to gangster hit Mafia, as Take Two has just announced a release date for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

As reported from VG247, Mafia II will be available in the US on August 24th, while everyone else will get it on the 27th – as usual.

For those of you attending PAX East, an extra treat will be available as Mafia II will be playable according to Take Two.

The press release is out, and will be a welcome read for gamers who were used to reading about numerous delays for the game.
