yay! im eligible for an update on the release date! haha i havent been this excited since the pre was revealed!

  • Haha, I'm not going to pre, but I'm definitely getting it this Summer… we need to seriously help HTC out though in promoting their product so they can make a LOT more like this, because iPhone blows compared to this… so tell all your stupid iPhone/iPod friends about this product… and explain to them just how wonderful it is… get the word out there, they need a large fan group for their product or some quick advertisements, only 25-31 more days until it is released, I believe… or it's around there, don't hold me to it, but I heard talk about release dates June 6th, 12, or 16th… something like that, lol.

  • If you go to radio shack, chances are it will end up being half the price… it already is for the HTC Hero, so just go to Radio Shack and you could probably get it for $100.00 with a 2 year contract, lmfao.

Honestly the only thing that could hold this phone back is price.

If they want to be the "IPhone killer" they not only have to beat the price but they also have to get more apps just like the Iphone has. Everything says Iphone app not Android App. Now if there is a way to have Iphone apps on the Android the Android phones would own the IPhone 100%. But it all comes down to price. Correct me if I'm wrong but im pretty sure HTC has to pay Microsoft $20-$40 for each phone due to "license the intellectual property required for Android." Now I would pay $220 for this phone and be completely fine with that. I think over $300 total will drive people away from the phone. They know the economy isn't at an all time high (people still blame Bush for this right?).

If they make the price around $200 they will for sure beat the Iphone AND get a $#!T ton of new customers just for this phone.

However, I can see the whole 4G isn't everywhere yet thing being a problem.

Does anyone else find a $200 price tag reasonable?

I will be purchasing 2 of this amazing phone on release day. One plan has its 2 years up and ready for a full upgrade and one is halfway. Worse case scenario I make a new plan get the phone and pay the extra for early termination on my second plan. Only if that would be cheaper. I imagine close to $200 for this phone WITH a 2 year contract I think that sounds pretty reasonable. Not to mention that Sprint will be getting some new customers from the HTC EVO 4G.

Who else is getting a 32 GB card for the phone? I sure will.

I don’t believe the evo at a $800.00 dollar price tag would be a wise move with the economy being as it is I love the evo I have the hero but I won’t pay that not now anyways

  • NikkiP

I'm getting it I'm already for my upgrade but I'm waiting

800 bucks is a lot of money. However, Rogers (Canada) sells the Xperia X10 for 621 dollars with tax without a plan.

    • Ryan Chusid

They haven’t announced the price yet.

  • Tony

its 599.99 + Tax.. 799.99 without plan a buddy of mine told me from sprint good luck

If this phone is really “the iPhone killer” then it would be smart for sprint to price it the exact same price,or cheaper than the iphone. That would be a good slap in the face.
