We have some interesting news for those of you planning to pick up Fable III on Xbox 360 at the end of the year, as designer Peter Molyneux has revealed that DLC content will be released via episodes.
As reported from VG247, Molyneux made the comparison with Fable III and ‘Dickens’ London’, adding that the place was very dark and ‘episodic’.
Here is the bit you need to pay attention to though: “We’ll give you the first big episodes, and you’ll be able to download new episodes, which is analogous to the way Dickens wrote.”
It seems as if Molyneux is borrowing a ‘page or two’ from Alan Wake’s book ,since we recently learned that the game will be formed via episodes as well.
The world has gone episode mad. More details over at VG247, let us know what you think of the news. Are you fan of developers delivering content this way or not?
