Final Fantasy creator criticizes God Of War III on Twitter
By: Alan Ng | March 22, 2010 | 1 CommentNow heres a bit of info that we never thought we’d have to tell you about. Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi has criticized God Of War III, stating that the opening of the game is too long.
Hold on a minute. Isn’t Final Fantasy famed for its long CG sequences too? As reported from VG247, that is what came out of his mouth though, as he chose Twitter to deliver the following message:
“A long opening movie. It’s nicely done, but you don’t need this. It’s movie-like, but you don’t need long openings in games.”
It wasn’t an outright blast on the game itself though, as he did later say that he thought it was a ‘good game’.
Bit of a head-scratcher about the opening of GoW III. Have you bought the game yet? If so, let us know if you think the opening is too long or not.
