3D TV: Panasonic beats Samsung in early performance battle
By: Alan Ng | March 22, 2010 | 1 CommentYou might want to take a look at this article we have found if you are thinking of purchasing a 3D TV set this Summer, as early tests have concluded that Panasonic is beating Samsung in 3D performance quality.
As reported from Zdnet, Panasonic were the first company to release their 3D-capable sets to the public last week, and has since sold out completely in the US – as stated in our previous article here.
The real news though, is that 3D performance quality looks to be superior to that of the Samsung 3DTVs, while a separate comparison of 3D glasses also favored Panasonic over Samsung. The tests by Consumer Reports also concluded that Panasonics 3D TVs provided better black levels than the Samsung models.
Although Samsung’s 3D models may be the cheapest option available to customers, it looks as if paying more will get you better 3D performance. Sony are yet to release their lineup.
