
PS3′s God of War III: Mature content brings $33m in 1 day
By: Alan Ng | March 20, 2010 | 6 CommentsWe have some staggering sales results from PS3 exclusive God of War III to bring you now, as it has been reported that the game has managed to pull in $33 million on day one alone. Mind blowing.
As reported from Playstation Lifestyle, day one figures have already been compiled by the guys over at Gamasutra. They have stated that gamers in the US had 450,000 copies of GoW III reserved via pre-order, with tons more coming in from the likes of GameStop and other retailers.
In total, the game managed to shift 550,000 copies of the game in the US alone, on just day one – which is well over $33 million if the retail price is $59.99 per copy.
