
Windows 7 SP1: Further Details, will feature RemoteFX
By: Jamie Pert | March 19, 2010 | 1 CommentEarlier this month we spoke briefly about the upcoming release of service pack 1 for Windows 7, recently more details have been posted on TheRegister, however we still have no idea of a release date.
Microsoft yesterday revealed that when they finally do come around to release SP1 for Windows 7 there will be no huge updates, instead it will consist of pretty much of all of the smaller updates which Microsoft have already released via Windows Update.
One thing which we have now heard is that there will be a pretty substantial update for Microsoft Windows 7′s Remote Desktop, this update will bring support for RemoteFX which was previously introduced in SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2.
