Verizon BlackBerry: Push-to-talk released, $5 a month to use
By: Alan Ng | March 19, 2010 | Leave a CommentWe have some good news for Verizon customers using BlackBerry Smartphones now, as the operator has just announced the release of a Push-to-talk application – which is now available to download.
As reported from BGR, the application will allow you to make unlimited nation-wide calls to other PTT devices – especially useful with friends or co-workers that also have a PTT-capable device.
Other features include group calls for up to 50 users, email and web access whilst on a PTT call, a section to manage your PTT contacts and much more.
The bad news? It costs $5 a month to use, but this is irrelevant for BlackBerry owners who really need this. It available right now – let us know if you’ll be trying this out.
