New iPhone Maths Games: KidCalc 7-in-1

KidCalc 7-in-1 Math Fun 1.12 has arrived for iPhone and iPod Touch users. Aimed at children between the ages of 2 and 10, this updated version includes Easter themed content, with adult voice over’s. Home schooling parents, private and public school teachers have helped in the design of this new app.

Launched by independent software developer Steve Glinberg, the app teaches math and numbers to children with engaging sounds and animations. In time for Easter, the updated app uses spring flowers, with chocolate and Easter bunnies. Another new addition to this version is a Birthday Party theme.

The app challenges children to math puzzles, on completion they are rewarded by the sound of trumpets, and the picture they had been working on is revealed in full. The app contains seven different activities including, math puzzle, animated calculator, and animated counting flash cards. KidCalc 7-in-1 Math Fun 1.12 is only $0.99 on the App Store. iPhone/iPod Touch required with OS 3.0 or later.
