
HP Slate: Expected Specifications, Pricing and Release Period
By: Jamie Pert | March 19, 2010 | Leave a CommentAs you probably know HP’s answer to the Apple iPad is called the HP Slate, details regarding this device so far have been scarce, however Engadget have recently posted information which they claim came directly from HP.
Don’t get too excited at the moment as the specifications Engadget posted are not very helpful, all they say is that the Slate will feature an Intel Atom processor and will run Windows 7, it will also feature USB connectivity, a memory card reader, webcam and will fully support Adobe Flash.
As for pricing, rumors suggest that it will be priced at around €400 (which is roughly the equivalent of $546), also Engadget’s article suggests that the Slate should be available sometime this June.
