Even though the BMW M5 Touring is yet-to-be confirmed, Jon Sibal has dipped his digital pen in virtual ink to produce a rendered picture of how it may look.
BMW can sometimes be a bit hit and miss when producing five-door M5’s, with the E34 and E60 variant’s available in five-door but E28 and E39 only as saloons.
The V10 engine from BMW’s current model is the favoured choice for the new F11 M5, rather than the X6 M’s V8 twin-turbo power plant. However it is highly unlikely that the U.S. will see the hatchback M5, due to the standard Touring being replaced by the 5 Series Gran Turismo. Check out AutoBlog for more info.
