Google TV Q&A: What we known so far

A few days ago we mentioned that Google were working on a new project – Google TV – but we did not have much information then. However, we have since learned that Google are teaming up with Sony and Intel on this new Web content device for your living room.

Google TV will be a set-top box and will run on Google’s Android OS. The New York Times reports that a version of the Chrome browser will be used for web applications – these include Picasa and Twitter. The idea with Google TV is to make use of smartphone apps and bring them into your living room.
