Google Nexus One: Released on AT&T, 3G compatible
By: Alan Ng | March 17, 2010 | Leave a CommentWe have some great news for customers on AT&T now, as Google has just announced the release of the Google Nexus One smartphone on that network. It shipped originally as an unlocked device, but it now has full support for AT&T’s 3G network.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, many of you will be aware that AT&T uses different 3G frequencies that other carriers dont support, meaning that the Nexus One was unavailable on AT&T’s 3G network at the time.
Google states that has now changed though, as its available to buy right now from Google’s webstore. Rogers customers in Canada should also be pleased, as the same thing applies for you.
Let us know if you’ll be picking up a Nexus One on either network now.
