Fandango Ticket Service for Mobile Phones – List of supported theaters

Fandango has just announced and unveiled a new movie ticket service, which will enable you to purchase movie tickets online, then use your mobile phone to display the ticket – allowing you to bypass those troublesome movie queues with ease!

As reported from BGR, tickets that are purchased online will then be sent to your mobile handset via a QR code that can be seen in the image above.

Selected movie theaters will then be able to scan this code on your mobile phone, allowing you to skip queues and watch movies with minimal hassle.

The service will only be available in selected theaters that have the unique scanning technology required. Examples include theaters in New York, Houston, New Jersey, San Diego and Hawaii.
