Gran Turismo 5: Update Regarding PlayStation Move Compatibility

By: Jamie Pert | March 15, 2010 | 2 Comments

Earlier today we posted an article which suggested that Gran Turismo 5 would feature PlayStation Move compatibility, we are now hearing that our sources were in fact incorrect.

This information seemed to have inadvertently leaked on Sony’s official PlayStation Move website (here), here they had Gran Turismo 5 listed in a “featured games” section, however it now appears as if these featured games are not actually directly related to the PlayStation Move.

Turn 10 Studios’ Forza game series are regarded as the ‘Xbox 360 equivalent’ of Gran Turismo, it is understood that Turn 10 are developing a version of Forza which will utilize Microsoft’s Project Natal motion control technology, therefore I must admit I thought that the addition of motion control (via PlayStation Move) for Gran Turismo 5 was pretty likely, however for now it seems as if this is not the case.
