Google vs China: Pullout Expected Very Soon
By: Jamie Pert | March 15, 2010 | Leave a CommentAs you have probably heard the tensions between Google and China have been pretty high ever since Google was targeted by Chinese hackers towards the end of 2009, following this Google stopped censoring Chinese search results.
Google have also previously threatened to completely pull the plug on search operations in China, now several source are reporting that google.cn (Google China) will be shut down shortly.
It is thought that services such as Gmail could still operate in China, however I would strongly recommend all of your Chinese readers (if there are any) to perhaps backup all of your importance emails and contacts etc just in case the service is affected.
