I have to say that I'm very disappointed by that game. For fans of the Battlefield 2 series and MW2 it feels like toy stuff. It is slow, the guns are not effective and the beginning levels are so disappointing that I decide to quit that. Going back to MW2 and hope for more maps and extensions.

Johnson is right, the game is only slow at the beginning, after you unlock weapons it gets a lot easier. Also the slow nature of the game makes working with your squad necessary, if you could just run around and kill everyone people would not work with their squads.

Lol you get loads of these MW2 fanboys at the moment, for the pure reason that it is getting overtaken by BFBC2. I have always loved MW2 but i accepted that BFBC2 is a better game and now play it more over MW2.

Oh sorry for the double post, almost forgot about what this thread was actully about. Anyway i use M60 with 4x scope Magnum amunition, extra vehicle armour. That set up beasts all as you get so many points in medic. if you stick in a squad ive topped over 7000 points mostly reviving my comrades (50points for non squad and 80points reviving squad members)

i think nolan either sucks at bc2 or has no appreciation for other styles of games, this game in dx11 with all settings maxed is an absolute epic of a game, never before have i ever felt so much like i was in an actual battle field, and the long distance sniping stand offs, or close quarter combat rushing in or parachuting out of the plane to tear it up, this is a truely epic game, GOOD JOB dice & ea

yea BFBC2 is by far better than MW2, in my opinion. No campers, no getting dominated by killstreaks and lightweight/dual magnum buzzkills,etc. Btw Engineer wit ump45+ “PhatCarl” Rocket + EX Rockets + Demolition Perk = TOTAL NOOBISH OWNAGE!!! I guess MW2 rubbered off on me after all… *sigh*

I have MW2 and im not sure if BC2 is any good. From what ive read here, it is way better. Anyone own both and can give me some factsw?

I have them both, and I love them both, but BC2 is more my style. I wish the games wouldn't be compared so often, as they are completely different.

BC2 = tactical squad gameplay, requiring thought and teamwork

MW2 = lone-wolf arcade style shooting, requiring good aim and quick reflexes

I love them both, like I said, and it just depends on what mood I'm in. But right now, probably because it's newer and fresher on my mind, I'll say BC2.

I use all 4 classes regularly:

Assault – m16a2, mp-443, 40mm grenade, 4x scope, assault training

Engineer – PP-2000, mp-443, M2 Carl Gustav, dot sight, Magnum ammo

Medic – XM8 LMG, mp-443, improved medkit range, LMG training

Recon – M95, mp-443, mortar strike, 12x scope, spotting scope

I always use the mp-443 due to it's large magazine (17 shots!) and for my vehicle I usually use armor or alt weapons, depending on what vehicle I want

yes i own both and bc2 is better in every way from gameplay to realistic shooting and anyway theres always a bad kid camping in the coner nomatter which one you play

He has pretty much the exact same load out as me sep for the pistols, but the pistols are all the same with how good they are it just depends on which style you like more (i use m1911 or burst depending on the map) The only thing i wonder about is the magnum ammo cuz i usually use the training things because they sound good the way the game describes them but the annoyin thing is that they dont actuelly show what they do. has anybody made some calculations or something yet??? Also im not sure if the engineer for him was a good choice cuz i have absolutely no idea what gun is the best. it would seem like ump but the stats for it dont add up.

I don't like the ump-45 in this game due to the low ammo and small magazine (it's my favorite gun in MW2, though). The PP-2000 is great, despite it's relatively low stats, due to it's large magazine and incredible rate of fire. It's only effective at really close range, though, although you can get some medium range kills by firing single shots or two shot bursts. For more medium ranged engineer kills, I prefer the AK-74

Medic = Thompson + M1911 is all i use cuz i havnt aquired ne specs yet cuz i dont have time to play. But i get around 27 kills a game and 1000-3000 exp a game with this

their both similar but bc2 is way better in the detail. my cousin owns mw2 and he likes it better but i say bc2 is the way to go.

I totally agree, I'm not happy with BC2 at all. I'm a long time player of BF2 for PC and I've been waiting FOREVER for DICE to produce something similar. BC2 doesn't cut it for me, lack of features that existed in BF2. Frankly I like BF1943 better so far. The controls don't seem as sluggish as BC2 although you can tell the engine is very similar. I like MW2 for the speediness. I feel drugged when playing BC2. I think it's completely lame you can't go prone. For those of you that claim BC2 is realistic, this would have to be a huge sticking point. Oh lets not forget the stairs that you get stuck on and have to jump to get over the one step, give me a break. Getting hung on one step is realistic alright. The game feels like it was released too quickly to me, it doesn't seem as high quality as MW2. I've had the PC version for a few weeks now and they still havent fixed the server list issues.

Ummm unrealistic so i suppose bellet drop and leading a target are unrealistic oh and not being able to shoot through a small piece of cardboard to get a kill in mw2 cuz everyone knows how strong cardboard is in south america. if anything was realeased too quickly it would have to be mw2 because of all that glitching. they did a rear good job of preventing that. and nolan if you are too lazy to unlock another gun besides the first one given to you then ur right the game isnt for u.

I agree BFBC2 is a better game.. no matter what you are going to have to many fan boys all up on mw2. The fast shooting ect.. but in real life it takes team work not just rambo shoot em up so yeah i think this portrays what real war is than MW2… thanks..

For the assualt class I like the 416 with the dot, the 1911 and fast reloads on the vehicle. As for the engineer the AK-74 is quite handy, as is the mini XM8, but lately I find the SCAR-L to be most to my liking. RPG's are also tons of fun to use. As for being better than MW2, well that depends on my mood. If I don't feel like thinking then it's probably a MW2 kind of day. Of course if I actually want to function as part of a team, well then, BC2.

Update. I now use the Assault Kit: M16 + 2 grenades + marksman

IMO BC2 is as a larger scare MW2, plus vehicles, minus campers.

I like sniping, and when i do i use the GOL. no use for the m95 if you aim for the face

Sniping – GOL, 12x scope & magnum ammo (the only vehicle perk i use is alt fire)
Assault – M416, 4x scope & magnum ammo
Engineer – SCAR-L, Explosives upgrade and Explosives upgrade 2

I haven't done the medic upgrades that much. been working down each class one at a time.

I know it's not the best gun in the game, but I prefer to be a medic. I have PWNed all with this kit.
M60 —- Red Dot (yes, it really helps, this gun jumps around a lot) Magnum Ammo

Again, not the best or strongest gun in the game, but I have an INSANE amount of kills with it. It's good long range, and short. I'll get kills all the way across the map (thus the red dot)

As for the other perks, I have them all, and they are all decent in their own way, although in my experience the ceramic armor is a waste of a perk slot.

And for the tank, I use the armor upgrade. I have a platinum star for the tank, so I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong there. The reload upgrade is nice, but if you're by yourself you're gonna want to use the armor. And the Alternate weapons i pretty sweet too, if you want to be able to use both bumpers

All in all, whatever gun you are most comfortable with is best for you. I have unlocked all the guns, and each has a situation it is best in. Oh yeah, if you like headshots, the M60 is the way to go, about 75% of my kills with the M60 are headshots.

yup, i owned both, i was so dman crazy about MW2 before it was released and also got the game on the day before night from wal-mart while standing in a line. Not only tht came home directly jumped in to the damn multiplayer and played for 24 hrs non stop, no sleep. Yes no sleep i was 22 or 25 rank and other ppl were talking all bullshit tht i hacked..:(

Anyways final thoughts about both games i think BC2 is way awesome then MW2. I would give BC2 9.1 and MW2 8.5. The main factor is no dedicated servers..I mean cmon infinity u suck guys..and there are more AIMBOTERS AND HACKERS IN MW2. The fuking infinity ward promised tht there wont be any hackers in MW2 cz of steam. I just hate it cz wt i hav suffered form it. Here I havent seen a single hacker in BC2 not a single eventhough they all running on dedicated servers. THis is some thing impresive. Im rank 14 in BC2.

As far as my overall impression of Bad company 2 is concerned, Its a nice game and all, but i think they went a little overboard with the specializations, trying too hard to be "MW2". If they cut out the Magnum ammo, Explmk2, extra mag size and MMN I think the gameplay would improve, as these upgrades compound balancing issues. Id rather be able to have both a scope and extra ammo.

I have played both MW2 and BFBC2 and personally, I would have to say BFBC2 is more enjoyable. It's not as fast paced as MW2, but it does a great job in creating epic firefight moments. Tyler really summed it up when comparing the two, but anyway…

M60 because it's friggin good, AKS74u because it's an all-'rounder; good up close and does quite well from a reasonable distance.

i just started playing i'm lvl 2 now so dont have much choice in weapons right now
but i like recon the most and use the M24. most of the time i use it to spot for my team mates and than try to shoot.

Improved Demolitions are like the Danger Close perk on Call of Duty. It makes any explosive do at least double the damage.

The best guns in my opinion, would have to be the M14, the UMP-45, and the M416. The Spas-12 with 12 Ga. Slugs is virtually a sniper, I put it on classes like the Medic Class, in order to unlock things faster with it, since I mainly use the Shotgun on Squad Deathmatch.

But here are my lineups.

M14- Extra Ammo, Magnum Ammunition, M136 AT4, MP-412 Rex Handgun.
UMP-45- 4x Scope, Magnum Ammunition, M136 AT4, MP-412 Rex Handgun.
M416- Red Dot Sight, Body Armour, 40mm Grenades, MP-412 Rex Handgun.

I have unlocked the M95, but I seldom use it. It seems that everytime I snipe I hitmarker, unless I get a headshot. I would rather use an M14 and get 2 shot kills, than use a Bolt-Action sniper that gets a 1 shot kill less than 25% of the time on regular game mode. I like the scope layout on the GOL Magnum, if that was on the M95 I might play hardcore mode with it. My vehicle perk will vary depending on my vehicle I plan on using, I mainly use Armour, ALT Weapon, and Improved Warhead. I see alot of talk about the M60 on here, I've picked it up a few times, I like it. I am going to put my Spas-12 set up, or M14 on the Medic class and unlock it.

BFBC 2 is better than mw2 they have tanks which make it tatical and fun theres a thin line between fun and unrealistic and EA have banged the nail right on the line well done also there are no 5 year olds screming down the mic :d

Im new to this game and was a MW2 person. I recently rented BfBC2 and think its unreal. I am definitely going to buy this game. COD= Unrealistic and full of campers. BfBC2= Tactical gameplay, and real. But i was wondering which class is the funnest out of all of them. and which is better and why Core or Hardcore

like playing Medic/Recon the most but i play all four reg so it dont matter me.
the G3 is pretty good too >.> but i dnt think everyone likes tht gun.

Mix and match. – fav weapon – knife properly nothing as good as stabbing a whole squad in the back.

i think that all the little children who play mw2 will find badcompany 2 boring because you arent in consistant action.this is rubbish , i average around 17-20 kills a match and my kill to death ratio is brilliant ( sometimes i dont even die!) . so i say to all mw2 fan boys , SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Ur a dumbass if u think mw2 is a better game. its extreamly unrealistic, the storyline makes no sense and the game gets so repetative after u have unlocked every gun. granted it gave me a few moments of pleasure but overall BFBC2 is a much better game.

well i gotta admit since bad company 2 punkbuster issues has been solved i havent touched modern warfare 2 my favourite class is the m416 red dot and shotgun attachments with magnum ammo and alternative fire vehicle and for pistol i pick the machine pistol

Recon – Saiga 20k, .45 ww2 pistol, mortar/c4(hard to choose, varies from map to map), light training, and after that i really don't do anything.

(saiga 20k has normally got me a minimum of 18 kills per match, all you really have to do is aim it near their head and it's a headshot, it's also gotten me the marksman pin (5k point one) and it's a nice weapon to train any class with in my opinion)

Hey all. I agree that Bad Company 2 is the superior game. It's got great infantry vs. infantry combat, with destructible enviroments and awesome vehicles.

I am a believer in "every weapon has it's purpose." That said, I use them all.

My most common setups are, in order of my most used class to least:

Assault – M16, MP-443, grenade launcher/40mm shotgun, red dot, Magnum ammo/body armour. I'll swap out the M16 for the F2000 if I have to do some room clearing.

Engineer – UMP-45, MP-443, Carl Gustav (Great for shooting down choppers), Red dot, explosive upgrade

Medic – XM8 LMG or MG3 (It looks just so bad ass), 4x zoom (Red Dot on MG3) Body armour

Sniper – M95, MP-443, 12x scope, spotting scope, mortar

I'll often swap out weapons depending on the situation. If the team needs general infantry, I'll go assault with the M16. If things need to be blown up, engineer.

I'm at my best in tanks fighting other tanks, but I can hold my own on foot and in helicopters too

used to be a hardcore COD fan am a 10th prestige with mostly red tiger camos on COD4

however am simply getting bored with the cod engine and its not gonna change with new guns or maps. the zombie game in COD WAW is the nearest thing to BF but
the forced teamwork aspect in BF2 is ausome rather than lone wolf in COD

the basic gameplay elements on BC2 are the same in all of the other Battlefield games. sure some of the customization options are similar, but thats just where games are going today. take a look at army of two. i really don't care that MW2 is doing better, in fact i'm glad that those players did not go and play BC2. and cONNART, i take it you haven't touched a battlefield game.

it is a well known fact that the m1911 is the best pistol on the game.
the other day i was playing and i got 28 kills in a game using nothing but m1911.
it would have been a bad game if i wasnt just using pistol but i think its the best.

And guess what? Infinity Ward lost rights to the Call of Duty franchise. You know what this means? It means no more updates, no more maps, no more anything. IW cant touch the game anymore. So if you still think the 1887s are overpowered, too fucking bad. At least EA DICE still hold the ownership of their games. And there hasnt been an update for BFBC2 for one simple reason: It hasnt needed one. There are next to no glitches in the game, especially ones that ruin gameplay (cough cough javelin cough care package glitch cough). I was infatuated with MW2 but it really is the same thing over and over again. Prestige was cool for MW, but some use of actual brain power would be nice when it comes to progress. And dont get me started on how it is a MODERN warfare game and yet the 1887s and Thumper are in there… Hmmm… Not modern at all… Neither is the m16 for that matter.

not saying that bfbc2 isnt a better game than mw2 but there certainly are just as many campers in it as there are in mw2. personally im way better at mw2 and love it but i reluctantly bought bfbc2 a few days ago and after the initial ass raping i received, i unlocked the better guns and sights for each class and i now love it moreso than mw2…for the most part great job ea

i reckon that wen u got mw2 u were probaly quite excited but after a couple of weeks or wen u finally get 2 ur 1st prestige u will get bored but with bfbc 2 it is completly different u have bigger maps

and better gameplay so overall i would go with battlefield bad company 2

Yeah the M60 is the best gun and medic best kit to get plenty of points… M16 is pretty strong too for assault kit.

I got all unlocks and i'm actually looking for what peeps like on the engineer, cause the UMP sounds good but the PP2200 (or something like that) seems to be a nice mosquito gun as well.

I haven't tried MW2 since i wasn't impressed with MW1 multiplay (only liked singleplay of that)

In comparison to the rest of the BF series, BC2 isn't that good, BF2142, BF 'Nam and BF2 were all significantly better. (The GFX and SFX is all pretty dated by now though)

I can't say that I use only one weapon, in every map I use other classes and other weapons…
but I Like it to blow peoples op with my shotgun (spas)

Loadout depends on the map, particularly when choosing the vehicle upgrade. For example, I use the vehicle armor bonus on all kits and maps since most times you'll be parked next to a control point for 30 seconds while it flips factions – unless on the map with the half buried barges at "B."

On that map, i prefer to hang back a bit and use the " High Power Optics Package." It enables me to zoom and rain in fire from great distances. Generally speaking though, I respect all kits as all satisfy distinct roles in a balanced squad. Still, it's hard not to have a favorite (squads be d4mn3d).

So here are mine:
1.Assault – M416 + Red dot + Magnum rounds
notes: great stopping power, rate of fire, and accuracy. Paired with the grenade launcher and unlimited ammo boxes, it's hard to find anything negative to say about this loadout.

2.Engineer – Scar-L + red dot / 4x + Improved Demolitions
notes: quiet and maneuverable in tight spaces, the 4x will help extend the range of the otherwise close quarter loadout. Rest assured, with increased explosive effectiveness, if you need to bail out to finish off or flank the enemy APC, it's no issue. (just remember to repair your own APC once the victor).

3.Medic – M60 LMG + red dot + Marksman LMG Training
notes: feels like cheating when you pack so much heat and can heal yourself. This build is accurate, has tremendous killing potential, and allows for rapid points when you work with your squad.

Overall notes on kits / loadouts: I almost always prefer the red dot as it allows for rapid target acquisition without blinding my peripheral vision. I personally hate the slow pace of the recon class, especially when paired with the above mentioned tunnel vision effect of scopes. It's best to keep your head down and pistol handy during lengthy (LMG) medic reloads.

As for the BFBC2 vs. MW2 multiplayer discussion, both are quality games and loads of fun. The faster pace of MW2's arcade style shooting makes for more solo, run and gun action. But having logged many hours in MW2, i can say that the choke points and firing lanes have become quite stale – compensated only by the fast pace.

For me, I have always preferred a more tactical approach to the FPS genre and have been a big fan of the battlefield games, from 1942 all the way til now – including the modern warfare DC.7 mod. And though I greatly miss the air combat that those enormous maps allowed for, BC2 has its own charm. At least with BC2, the maps are decent sized and squad play is utilized. Pair those two with the destructible environments and it bests MW2 without a doubt. But enough stroking EA's johnson, BC2 is lacking in many respects when compared to older BF releases. So here's what i greatly miss:

EA to do list
1. give us more maps
2. give us larger maps, or at least larger towns/bases to defend with more distance between / around them.
3. Bring back air combat! Seriously, the diversity of "How teams waged war" is what MADE the original game. To cut it out in favor of ever circling helicopters is a disappointing tease.
4. give us new game modes. example, 2142's titan mode was probably the most exciting and innovative in the long running series. Put on your thinking caps to come up with some gripping and innovative.

yea , i totally agree with Razor.., but what i dont get is, why would EA and DICE put the XM8? i mean its a FAIL WEAPON in real life, 2 magz out and its overheat, even the U.S ARMY stated that they trash that rifle and signed contract with the F.N company for their SCAR.., and AK47 rifle's gone, replaced bye AEK? MW2 is a great game because you don’t really need teamwork and the hit markers are great, plus its fast pace in multiplayer and campain, And for BFBC2 it’s also a great game due to the nice amount of teamwork needed and variety of vehicles. But the campain is slow and the hitmarker is so bullshit along with you get shitastic guns when you first start out in multiplayer, but you get better selection in later level. To sum it all up I would rather prefer BFBC2 because its fun. (except for hitmarkers) My fav. class is Medic: M60-4x weapon zoom and BodyArmor

I like most guns, dont really notice that much difference except when it comes to single or automatic fire and reload times. I like MW2 but im not a fan boy, it has its flaws, small maps, bad connections etc….but BC2 has also. BC is less personal, less exciting, i dont get drawn in and suddenly wonder where 5 hours went like i do with other games. Both games have campers and spawn attackers, and both have noobs…grenade or tank noobs.

I have just started playing bad company 2 and I would have to say that I like it a lot more than modern warfare 2. I just got tired of all the stupid perks in modern warfare 2 like scavenger and commando. Bad Company might be slower to get into, but I find that it's a more rewarding experience when you communicate with your team and execute good plans to capture objectives. It feels grea capturing an objective after you had to come up with a plan instead of winning a game by killing someone with you harrier.

Bc2 is way better you dont get idiots with noob tubes and danger close or people running around with tactical knives. Mw2 gets so annoying with kids sat in a corner with a heartbeat sensor. Bc2 is more realistic and the game modes are more fun. Also is does not repeat itself. The maps are more fun to play on and there is more squad play . I never get annoyed with Bc2 but do with Mw2. Bc2 FTW.

I think BFBC 2 because I love the vehicles they have in MW 2 they haven't got vehicles

light-speed bullets that are immune to gravity, teeny combat areas you are convieniantly trapped into, EMP’s that take out your radar, radio, sattellite signal, your tritium lit acog scope (?), but somehow won’t affect that harrier loitering in the air over you, buckshot that magically dissolves in the air after it exceeds twice your arms length, and the very existance of heartbeat sensors all falls into your definition of realistic? The weapon list is about 80% identical for the two games, and about the only thing I miss from CoD is my Steyr AUG.

I played mw2 forever and got to 6 prestige but there are way to miuch campes, noob toobers, shoot gunners, gay kill streaks, unlogical gameplay things, lagging and other crap like in mw2 I can’t play a match with out lagging out or getting angry at the gay people and in bfbc2 it’s 10X more realistic more cooler guns it’s more fair maps r cooler veachals blowing up stuff bigger maps longer games and I could keep on going but I would die of awesomeness so adios!

MW2= 8/10, you dont see real live soldiers 360ing in .3 nano second, you dont see soldiers quick scoping either, and how you shoot the enemy the same time he/she shoots you never ends in a kill-kill situation,one person survives and the other dies also it is waaaay to fast paced that no one helps you at all, its every man for himself there, also you regenerate i mean god, you take every bullet in the world and not die AND you get pain pills that makes you into a god for couple seconds. they made ever gun strong but not the intervention (hit-marker happens alot) the game is fun but theres no climax and no epic things going on. too fast paced, no communication tactics and mainly kids under rthe age 15 plays it now. also infinity ward got there licence taking away cause of there mistakes on it. not very professional.

BFBC2= 9.5/10 realism and building explodes also shotgun bullets actually is realism to that too, and the shot doesnt go all the way across the map either it has a drop range, maybe the guns isnt strong but hey you got armor on so thats a reason, its good paced not fast but not too slow and the graphic fits in to create that epic feel, everyone can hide and not be easily seen, you have health so you are only limited to amounts of bullets (unless you have a medic) ALSO they dont have classes but you can say important jobs there. you got your self the medic, recon, assault and engineer so everyone has an important role in the game, and prone is removed to prevent campers and drop shoters (like in cod) this game is supposed to be a simulation of war while COD is a simulation of action. bad thing you can really say is the squad in your team, people can sometimes (yes sometimes) be all over the place and you might not be in that squad but this game is organized and are placed for those of the ages 17 STICKILY, reasons for lack of little children playing this game while there not supposed to. other then that this game is tactical and epicly fun, bombs going all over the damn place and the feel of battle can be placed on your hands and view.

reason people might not like it is because you cant play cheap like they do in COD or because there under the age of 17, and you cant be going lone wolf here, war equals teams and teams equals communication and communication equals victory, so if you dont have a good the communication part, go back to the low jack MW2.

ive just started, well bout a week ago, and i like the ns2000 shotgun, that one packs a punch, also even though it says it has bad range, i can shoot a guy off a tower, from ages bak, so all in all its a good gun, but i think my M95 is glitched, i shoot a guy in the neck and he turns round and kills me, ud think a .50 round would take the head off

Blotzit, I've been playing for awhile now and I am having a difficult time with it because I am older than most of these guys (51), but I must say the graphics and the gameplay is very realistic. You can really get into it.
Unfortunately the "glitch" you are talking about is a EA norm. The 50cal is not a one shot one kill rifle, unless it's a headshot. That being said damage is higher than most, so if your enemy is down on health you can get the one shot kill easier than the other weapons and it does go through armored glass like in the helos. I switched back to the COL. because the bullet drops alot less over long distances.

Arguing over mw2 and bc2 is a waste of time. Both are awesome games, but with totally different styles. I prefer bc2 (I'm better in it than in mw2), but I admit mw2 is great, too.

I am surprised not to see a lot of people not putting down the saga or usa with extra ammo, and shotgun rounds. I know a lot of people think that it is a cheap way… but in small maps. A strong shotty with 12 rounds in the chamber and is semi/full auto is just what the doctor ordered.

I’ve got to say I enjoyed call of duty 4 very much but cod 5 was cod 4 just re skinned with a ww2 theme and mw2 just got old and I have completely lost interest in that game. My vote for a better game goes to battlefield.

I’ve had the most success with the M16 A2 4x opt + grenade launcher, mag ammo and vehicle alt wep. And to all of the people saying this game feels slow… I noticed the same thing, but instead of being a dumb fanboy i turned the sensitivity up! I know, I’m a genius.

I am a beast with the AKs-74u i have already racked up over 1000 kills wit it. I also pwn wit the M1911 i got over 500 kills wit that. Im a level 31 and i seem to level up more quickly then others. I aslo seem to have way more kills then people who also my level.

I find both of these games to be pretty awesome. As ya'll were saying, BFBC2 is more tactical, as MW2 is more lone-wolf, i agree with that. But BFBC2 does have some campers as i've notcied. People like to sit around the M-COMM station with a LMG and just wait. But i guess i shouldn't be complaining because they are simply trying to keep people away from the objective. But then, when i'm on defence, i've noticed that a lot of people simply use vehicles to get kills. Like i've noticed there is always a Blackhawk gunning me down or a Bradley trying to blow my building down. This gets kind of annoying because to normally kill the vehicle, you have to get behind it, or find a TOW launcher. This gets annoying to me. But i find this better than having a Chopper gunner mowing me down, or campers just killing me everytime i take a certain path. But i find both of these games fun.

yeah definitely. you have the right idea. when i wanna hardcore realistic squad game with my buddies i play BFBC2. When I wanna mess around with my buddies we play MW2. i love both games, but i find BFBC2 to be my favorite of the two.

My one pet hate on BFBC2 is that the turning speed is very sluggish, even with max settings. Trying to lead a decent speed heli is a nightmare.

the whole point to the game is working with your squad and team, so if u dont like that thats fine, but dont say it sucks just because you dont like the style of the game.

Well my best class to use is the Engineer. 1 the PP-2000, 2 the M93R Burst, then the gadget is AT-Mine, Lastly for the specializations i use the Magnum rounds, and Explosive leg pouch. (the magnum rounds make the PP-2000 and the M93R stronger) (the Explosive leg pouch+the AT-Mines allows you to carry x6 mines) >:) NOTE: don't set the mines to close to each other because if one explodes they all do. I have been playing mw2 for a long time. when the game first came out it was epic, the maps were unknown and it was fun. now its a joke, everyone mods and camps and glitches, and the only way to win now is to do it yourself. I have every gun and every attachment and after getting that you realize how much the game sucks. I paid 30$ for 6 new maps and 4 RECYCLED maps from cod4 (super lame) and these maps were all garbage, its still a campfest. I just got bc2 and I can’t believe what I’ve been missing, the maps are great and the add ons are free and its hard to camp. bc2 is a better game, I haven’t touched cod since I got it.

I just bought bfbc 2 for 40 bucks for my ps3 a week ago and it is an actual war in online. i mean the classes, vehicles, weapons, overall feeling, and graphics truly amazing. wether online in pc, ps3, or 360 THE ONLY WAR HERE is BFBC 2 is BETTER than mw2. ?? no war because bfbc2 won lets get out there and play gamers.

I think what CG refers to is the Carl Gustav RPG. I'm assuming (I could be wrong).

I have only played BC2 so I won't comment on MW2.

I only logged in about 10 hours into it so I do not have all the unlocks. I am currently level 12. I do agree with many others in that all of the weapons can work well in different situations.

Assault: The weapons I've received stars the fastest in are: the xm8 (very well balanced), AN-94 Abakan and m416 ( have not unlocked the M16A2 yet). I use red-dot sight as the other sights blind my peripheral vision and I found these rifles suited to my playing style. Assault is a very good beginner class to get used to playing BC2. Don't forget to hand out those ammo kits on holding positions or people that call for ammo! Easy points!

Engineer: I've only unlocked the first two primaries, I like the SCAR better than the 9A-91 so far. I also sometimes use the M1 Garand and M1A1 Thompson depending on the situation or my mood. A vastly different mindset is needed to play this class. Running and gunning like a lone-wolf will get you killed fast. Using cover/flanking positions to pop out and RPG a tank/vehicle/enemy is loads of fun.

Medic: still in the process of unlocking, haven't played enough to comment. I can see how easy it is to rack up points with this class. Don't forget to hand out those health kits on holding positions! Easy points!

Recon/Wookie: I absolutely detest camping and I am still in the process of unlocking this class. I can't snipe to save my life so as a result I do the unconventional "assault wookie" routine which is: grab a shotgun, use the shotgun upgrade specialization along with extra ammo and spam motion mines.

There are a lot of good guides on tips, strategy, even tweaks (to increase FPS for PC users) online, just search for it.

NOLAN: Please do go back to MW2. It just shows BC2 is to hardcore for you and you prefer the easy shooters which dont need any skill and which doesnt require you to work as a team. MW2 does all them things.

BC2 is alot beter in everyway there are bigger maps, you can destory bits of the maps such as buildings which turns the map around and give advantage or disadvantages to either side. Unlike MW2 where your stuck to one map which is repeated, it is the same all the time and you can camp in a window for ages without it getting blown out of it by the MW2 RPGS which are useless because they are used to destory buiildings and armour :S why have them if it does not have that stuff.

BC2 Sniping is more realistic because you need to measure distance between you and the enemy and use bullet drop skill to get that kill. There no quickscoping noobs, which in real life does not happen and as a sniper on BC2 You need to use the enviroment to your advantage unlike MW2 where you can just run around like a chicken no scoping which just ruins and takes the point away of what a sniper if for.

BC2 Beats MW2 hands down you may agree or disagree, but most MW2 fans dislike BC because its to hard, and the game play is not fast. WELL!!! since when in real life is wars fast? since when did you see a guy with a knife charge and army of troops and take them all out or a sniper run at you doing 360 sniper shots. JUST NO!.

BC focuses on both realistic and non realistic, such as the weapons have diffrent strengths and ranges, MW do have this put come on the maps are so small the pistols can shoot the length of the maps anyway :S.

MW is just another typical |FPS|, BC needs skill, patients and a good brain to work out where the enemy is, where they will attack.

MW supply you you which crappy game modes where your able to camp the spawns and objectives try it on BC, you will get bombed or blown up by a tank which OH YES!!! MW does not have them through they have RPG-s , but dont forget you can shoot the jets down with RPGS, yes thats right ! jets which fly so low to the ground which they do it real life! of course not.

Ill stop my rant but MW2 is for people new to FPS, BC for the more older and patient gamers who need to think before running across the road.

Battlefield all the way – accept no substitutes.

Assault, Medic, Recon – all good, whatever the gun (almost). Engineer? Unplayable for me. I suck with vehicles, except light fast transports, and can be secondary gunner in heli's just fiiiine.

I prefer akaban, XM8-p for assault. MP443 for pistol, magnum ammo, and 4 times sights – vehicle loadouts are meaningless for infantry like me.

Medic? M60 is ok, but prefer XM8, and esp MG36, MP443, magnum ammo and red dot are a must.

Favourite in the whole game? It's got to be the VSS with MP443 (almost as much ammo in the clip!), extra clips, and magnum ammo. Nothing kills faster!!! I don't snipe, I get upclose and personal, and get Ace Pin 75% of the time with this loadout.

Not for wimps though. You have to be fast, think quick, think laterally, and work well with a squad with a resupply guy. If you're good, this kit will bring you many many accusations of being a hacker. Has for me.

it's pretty easy to get veteran status. What I did was simple.
1) google, download and install Battlefield Heroes (it's free to play).

2) Use the same email address you used for your BFBC2 to register for Battlefield Heroes

3) go to EA tech support and "chat" with a representative, tell them that you would like to upgrade your veteran status. Tell them you have both BFBC2 and battlefield heroes. this took me about 10-20 mins to find ea chat support and "chat" with them.

4) boom, m1 garand unlocked. Hope this helps.

Assault– G3 with C4, magnum ammo, and fast sprint. my k:d ratio tripled, and I hunt tanks now lol. I think I have fast vehicle reload but I never use it, tanks are too high profile, I prefer to sneak in quickly on foot and hit the tank when its not looking. and the G3 is sick with those magnum rounds.

Recon– Silenced SVU with extra ammo and magnum rounds, and i switch evenly between mortar and C4. (mortar against enemy snipers behind that big rock, C4 on vehicle maps.) I love the SVU now, I had three people capping the middle flag on Port Valdez all crouched side by side by the concrete blocks. got all 3 in one 10 round magazine from like 30 feet away. Assault rifles cant do that in my experience. And maybe it takes 2-3 rounds to kill an infantry instead of 1-2, but its semi auto, so no big deal. Perhaps its lame, but its definitely fun!

Both are great games. However modern warfare 2 is FILLED with campers and people who spawn and instantly swap to the secondary where they have a shotgun or rpg bc2 has some campers but they usually die really fast because no building is a safe hiding spot.

Honestly, i don't have a favorite weapon customization. What i have is skill, smarts, and tactics that overpower my enemy. for when you use all these, you can be an elite expert in gaming. Then again, i do love the medic class since reloading is a b*tch in this game, i die whenever i reload. Although, i love the recon class since long range is better for me and worse for them.

camping is sitting around a corner waiting for someone to run by, not sniping from the next hill. thats just how you play recon class. In MW2 people just hide around corners then blam, shotty to the back. way to be lame people. BFBC2 eliminates most of this, you know there will be people around corners protecting the mcom stations, thats what your squad is for

i have mw2 and bfbc2 and this is the lowdown: mw2 1player storyline is better but bf2 multiplayer is better

Medic: Saiga, M1911, Medkit speed, SG uprade, and alt. fire.
I pretty much use this most of the time, running around the front line killing and reviving. I use the saiga, because it has to be the best shotgun in the game bar none. You can get it firing fast as a USAS and have a pretty long reach for a shotgun. The M1911 just works well for me and it's always helpful to have a backup in a vehicle.

Assault: AN-94 Abakan+40mm grenade+Grach+Magnum ammo+red dot+ALT W

The knifing in MW2 is so unrealistic and overused

well lets just say when i play bfbc 2 it may be frustrating when your a noob to the game. but as you go along you gradually get better its so much more fun than mw2. i go back to playing mw2 and it feels like im playing in a cartoon. im like wow. i thought it was ridiculous. even though bfbc2 is also basically a "cartoon" it rocks, and it feels realistic. the only annoying thing about bfbc2 is when you die. you got a lot of running to do on some maps. but is well worth it when ever you have the m60 with 4x scope m1911a1 colt 45 pistol. these weapons do damage. so your best bet is to get bfbc2 no doubt. also you have helicopters. if you aint driving they are real fun to man machine guns or just plain ride in. atv's, hummers, boats' tanks you name it.

for the weapon training perk that allows for better aiming if thats what you are talking about this perk actually sends the bullets where you red dot sight is or what ever. not using this perk the bullets sort of spread around a little bit even if the red dot is in the same place. its an excellent perk whenever i figured out what exactly it was lol

I love bbfc2 compared to mw2. The maps are larger scale. More players in a match. Better match types. Anyway here are my classes. Assault-G3, Magnum revolver, c4, light weight package, magnum ammo, v alt

I have both games, mw2 is a great game! I have nothing against it. but I have just gotten bad company 2. I do really enjoy it, yes more than mw2. You can drive vehicles, you have more weapons then mw2, and best of all it has the froftbite engine – (enables you to destroy almost anything). Mw2 campeign is better in me opinion, but overall bad company 2 is a better game. worts and all

ump-45 is realistic in BFBC2 it actually does have a 25 (or 26 i dont remember) round clip and has a fair amount of stopping power for an smg

For beginners i recommend being a medic just because you can get s**t ton of XP in a match just healing your team mates without being good at the game yet
Set ups:
Assault: STG.77 with shotgun (usualy not always), 4x scope, magnum ammo
Medic: MG3 because the rate of fire rapes, extra ammo so that you dont have to worry about useless assault people, and magnum ammo (MG3 does no damage without it)
Recon: i dont have anything unlocked but i use the M1A1, mortar, light weight equipment, and magnum ammo
Engineer: XM8, any rocket, extra explosives, and body armor (i know it doesnt help a lot but still)

I use the GOL, m1911, Magnum ammo, and 12x scope with mortar strike. It's a great setup for hardcore mode.

recon= tough to say because i love every bolt rifle dnt like the semi autos to much, but the m95 is my fav because its enourmous lol other than that i use the GOL, burst because if im up close and get hit mark wit the sniper i can pull out the pistol and light it up, i use every scope depending on style of play and map size,magnum ammo is a must u get less hits and more kills, alt w for vehicles

Well everyone has summed it up quite nicely but might as well put my 2 cents in. I love mw2 but it gets pretty boring after playing since it came out. BFBC2 is most deffinatly my favorite game i love the excitement of playing rush and your whole squad rushes up the sidelines pwning kids and sneak in to plant the bomb and defend realy gets my blood rushing.

the m1 garand and the m14 are very nice guns m14 imo is better because u can put a sight on it but the garand is alot of fun

and im sorry to say but there is 1 flaw not realy the game itself but some of the mw2 ppl who play it, they come on thinking u can run up and shoot shoot shoot plant and run away and that causes most losses (all i play is rush) u need to take your time revive your teamates or u lose all your tickets so that being said plz take your time and play as a team lol

It's funny that people complain about how unrealistic bc2 is when they havn't played HARDCORE mode. In hardcore u practically die by 1 headshot, 2 shot in the chest, 1 sniper shot and so on. Unless its a really weak weapon you have then it takes a few more shot to kill someone but not by many.

I believe each weapon has it pros and cons, some are better at medium range to long range and others are better in close combat to medium range. But if you master the highest output dmg weapon then it'll become the best weapon of choice. An example is AN-94 Abakan for the assault class, I've seen alot of people being a fan of the M416 but for me it's weaker than the XMB Prototype at burstfiring and handling.

Here is my favorite setup with different kits.
Assault KIT: An-94 / M16A2 / XMB, M1911, red dot / 4x, magnum upgrade, V-Armor or Warhead upg and this goes in other KITS as well.

Medic KIT: M60 / MG36, M1911,
M60 with red dot and mgm aim
MG36 with all healing capable upg

Engi KIT: Depends on map and game mode, if its hardcore then I wont pick up explosive upgrade and rockets.

UMP / SCARL, M1911 / heatseeker pistol
I usually pick RPG most of the time due to higher output dmg towards tanks, the M2 is weaker but better vs heli's and infantry.

Nolan you switch back to MW2 because you kill people faster? that is because anyone can get good a COD cause its like 3 hit kills nub. whoever sees the enemy first is the one who gets the kill, no skill

Recon, M24, mortar, motion sensor, Increased ammo load, spotting scope, and vehicle motion detectors with the third pistol with 17 shots as my side arm

Bfbc2 is one of the best games iv ever played it is wayyyyyyy more realistic that mw2. Mw2 was fun at the beginning but was to repetitive and was good till I got bfbc2. Overall bfbc2 is a much better game

That's why the mg36 kills it, it's got nooo kick with the built in scope. It's hard to pick a single class and favorite. I started with the engineer. I only use the engineer when tanks are camping now. But I like the UMP45 magnum rounds with the 4x or red dot. I also I use the gustav and pack the tracer. In Medic I like MG36 because it's so ridiculously accurate at medium range I use the h+ instead of sights because the sight is built in and I use magnum rounds.. I got 44 kills and was the best person in a round for the 1st time with that package. For Assault I like the Aek 3 round burst as it's accurate and powerful, the aug is nice too. I use grenade launcher magnum and 4x or red dot. Lastly for sniper, the m95 is a beast, I use 12x and a magnum round. The vss special is good on close quarter boards but the ammo runs out fast. The best sidearm is the revolver. My favorite is the m95 but I usually score between 1000 – 1500 not counting awards. I'm best with the medic as I get no less than 2500 before awards. I got 22 awards earlier today… best I've ever done. Medic it is.

M95 takes out choppers… I don't like the magnum for aiming… I measure by notches and the m95 is good for measuring trajectory…. the Gol has no notches witch are important for large maps like Heavy Metal. I would like to know why so many use the Magnum… .it's probably the most popular I'd say…. or at least the most I'm killed by. Maybe there's something I'm missing?

BFBC2 is the second most realistic game.. Arma 2 is 1st and that's a job playing that game. MW2 is a game for young kids.. BFBC2 is for adults.. every weapon has a point, there are people who are level 50 who use the scar which is one of the 1st weapons the engineer gets… Every weapon feels different.. mw2 is hide behind fridge or come out from the corner and scope down a corridor. the ONLY advantage mw2 has on multiplayer is the book-keeping. MW2 keeps tabs of some sick statistics. the story is pretty good too… but bfbc2 is too so it's a push. the destructible environments kill stuff. with all that being said, it took me 6 months to beat mw2 on my console… because I hated the multiplayer… alot. I'm good at EVERY online game I play but I just couldn't get into the game. BFBC2 was hard as crap but I enjoyed the game and the niche. there are so many effective styles of play…. so many MORE than mw2 because the game, bfbc2, is waaaay more dynamic. get some… or just continue to play your 5th grade game.

Best gun: Assault AN-94- you want the mmgm upgrade or whatever gives you the extra damage or body armor (this is the strongest gun IMO it doesnt really matter how you customize the assault loadout in this case), for engineer I stick with xm8 compact and put on the extra explosive and explosive upgrade, if its a tank heavy level, you might want to consider using this loadout with antitank mines. I use the first sniper rifle available in the recon class I believe its an m40 with a 12 x scope and mmgm I don't find I need the spotter scope because ANY class can spot by simply pressing the select button. you want to compliment your squad with whatever your using, medic is super strong and arguably the best class but if it makes sense strategically, I find the other classes to be more fun. BFBC2 vs. MW2 I think has to go to BF for shear scale of maps, diversity of class loadouts in terms of strategy ie. tanks, helis other vehics objective based play not to mention replay value- re-play value.

Hmm not many shotgunners here… well ya i use the NS 2000 with the rex, i can kill whoever i get near, and then pistol snipe anyone else, plus playing as a medic class, i can tear through anyone who gets on my squad, and revive em right away. All that plus magnum rounds just for the heck of it, and i quite enjoy myself.

I use the Saiga on all classes with lightweight and sg upgrade so i can go all day.
The Saiga is definitely the best gun. i use the mp412 as my secondary for long range enemies too. with the vehicles i use smoke for some quick getaways. Happy playing people.

Most of the Vietnam add-on weapons are really nice. I've only had it for about a week and i've managed to get 2 gold stars with the M40, which hits extremely hard in squad death match.

Yeah, except Modern Warfare sold something like 6 Million. BF BC2 got stuck at 3 million…So, I'd say going by sells, MW is liked a lot more than BF BC2. Also, I do like BC2 much better than all of the Call of Duty games because of the realism. The only aggravating part is EVERYONE snipes or hops in Helicopters, Tanks or UAV's. How do those take skill? Exactly. Great game though. People don't like it because it's more difficult than Halo and COD games. I, on the other hand, love the challenge that BF BC2 gives the player. They players are more skillful and you feel as if you're in real warfare instead of in a cage waiting to get shot by someone sitting in a corner.

I like recon with USAS-12 or 870MCS with ammo and "shotgun" upgrade (dont know the exact name). It is really enjoyable for me to use the motion mines combined with these shotguns and C4.
When I am not in a mood for shotguns I use assault with STG-77 AUG and 443 GRACH or engineer with AKS-74 and RPG-7. I always use an alternative weapon upgrade for all vehicles.

Recon-M95 (high power scope)-MP443-Motion sensor-

I mix and match depending on the map and the stage of the game but typically start as an engineer with ATMs and sprinkle these around as they stay until blown up
I also like Alt weapons as it means the UAV has a .50 cal machine gun which is deadly if you fly around behind the enemy and get in close

But beside that I like to use medic-MG36-the lightweight spec which makes you move faster(can't remember what it's called)-and magnum ammo-I don't use vehicles at all so I haven't even unlocked the first thing on vehicles

Agreed man, just I used the 50.cal sniper when I unlocked it, better than the GOL.

I'm at level 38, with Recon it matters whether you're defending or attacking, but I prefer shotguns…Neostead 2000 comb with 12 guage and mag ammo (mortar when defending, C4 when attacking…basically one shot, one kill stuff and with a little help from assult class, steady barrage of motion detectors.

The Training specialisations makes your guns 25% more accurate, and Magnum ammo makes each bullet 25% more powerful. All the uprgades improve somthing by 25%.

red dot is noobish. u should get used to iron sight cause u can pick valuable perk instead of red dot. for some weapons like an94 iron sight can be tough so 4x scope is tolerable.

team play is crucial for bc2 but u should consider this is a shooter game so most enjoyable aspect is the killing. and if u wanna make some points u would need all the gold stars so if u got the talent go for killing.

Yo cant have magnum and spot at same time

I personally play hardcore. Maybe it was a mistake, but I haven't ever regretted it. Whenever I play a regular match with buddies now, I do awfully now.

I'm only rank 30, but I've learned how long to hold down the fire button for all automatic weapons to get a kill in hardcore. Switching to regular, I get owned because I'll fire enough shots to kill in hardcore, then quit paying attention, forgetting that those shots won't take down a regular player.

Hardcore can take a lot more teamwork, and if one team has players with mics and the other doesn't, its often the deciding factor. With no spotting, outside of the pause menu, you learn to rely on your teammates for info on enemy positions. Snipers can go a whole round without having to move once, or being found, if they snipe smart enough, and don't miss.

Hardcore is much easier to kill on, and much easier to die on. Alot of the underpowered weapons from regular mode are seen in hardcore, as the lower damage is negated, and the often have very good recoil patterns a fire rates, lending themselves well to skilled players.

One issue with hardcore, is the lack of UI. You won't have anything on your screen but the score marker, making it hard to keep track of rounds used and rounds left, meaning that keeping well stocked with assault players to help you out when you unexpectedly run out of ammo.

All that being said, my favorite set ups are as follows, note that they are used in hardcore.

Assault: M16 SA, MP .443, 40mm Grenades, 4x Zoom, Magnum Ammo, Alternate Weapon. This setup allows for massive destruction from the grenades, coupled with the infinite ammo of assault. The M16's 3 round burst allows for more accurate shot placement, and better bullet conservation. The AN-94 works well here as well, in both those regards. It fires a 2 round burst, with higher damage per bullet than the M16. I personally prefer the 3 (very minisculely!) weaker rounds of the M16, and tend to do better with it. This is a good all around general class set up. In hardcore, the MP .443 is a two shot kill, and coupled with its 17 round magazine, it is very easy to see why I choose it with every class set up.

Assault: F2000/ Steyr Aug (In this set up, they are essentially interchangeable), MP .443, 40mm Grenades, Grenade Upgrade, Magnum Ammo, Alternate Weapon. I use this set up for a sort of "blitzkreig" strategy. When I'm rushing in, and want to strike fast and hard, I use this set up. The extremely fast fire rates of these two guns makes it great for room clearing, and having 2 grenades, and 4 40mm grenades makes destroying buildings or clearing rooms with grenades very, very easy. This is a fun set up to play.

Recon: GOL Sniper Magnum, MP .443, Artillery Goggles, Ammo Upgrade, Magnum Ammo, Alternate Weapon. This setup is perfect for sniping on most any hardcore map. The GOL has perfect accuracy, and that really helps a lot when landing shots (NB: I landed a marksman headshot defending on Arica Harbor with this score: +50 kill, +10 headshot, +362 Marksman headshot). The binoculars allow for anti-vehicle or cover destroying tactics, while the ammo upgrade allows a proficient sniper to stay in position for much longer. The Magnum ammo helps compensate for long distance body shots, when the GOL's lack of power becomes apparant on harcore.

For Myself Im Using :
Assault : M16 – Red Dot or 4x sight, Magnum ammo.
Engineer : Ump 45, Gustav RPG, Magnum Ammo, Extra Rocket Munition.
Recon : GOL sniper, 12x Scope, Magnum Ammunition or automatic Spottiing scope, and Mortar Strike (Depending the map I take C4).
Medic : (Dont remember the name, but the second you unlock with Big Accurate Of Fire (Dont unlock the last one) Magnum ammunition, Defib, Extra Ammo.

Yes, MW2 got more sales, but BFBC2 got more dedicated gamers.. I just downloaded battlefield bad comapany 2.. after reaching 9th prestige for Modern Warfare 2. They are both excellent games. They both have their ups and downs. BF is focused on realism, and yes guys, the snipers are annoying but they should have 1 shot kills to the upper chest. MW2 is great for fast paced, quick and easy stuff. The Ak47 remains to be my favorite gun in that game, not only for power, but realism in the LOOK not the sound. I have yet to meet a game that LOOKS as REAL. ONLY for the AK47 or the M9 Pistol. I love quickscoping, but it gets out of hand sometimes… and Noobtubing?! REALLY?! Beat. Sooooooo beat

no 12x zoom?

IMO i think that mw2 shouldnt be compared to bfbc2 because its a completely different game, so people should just try and see what one they enjoy the most but i have had tons of fun with both….

My Favourite class at the moment would have to be the recon class with a G3-light weight-magnum ammo-vechile alt.

Love BC2. Only complaint is that some of the maps can be won too easily by good helicopter pilots (i'm looking at you, atacama). Here's what I normally roll with:

Assault – I change it up on a whim between XM8, AUG, 416 AN-94 and M16, they are all pretty nice. Double grenades and magnum ammo as perks.

Engineer – Hate all the damn engineer guns, usually role with G3 or a shotty depending on the map. AT mines or RPG with both explosive perks

Medic – XM8 MG, double grenades and magnum ammo.

Recon – VSS with a red dot and magnum ammo. This setup is a beast, motion mines and a gun that actually kills shit without sniping. Also works good with a shotty if its a tight map. But seriously, motion mines are addicting.

For the vehicle perk, usually always ALT Weapons, found it to be the most noticeably effective.

Assault – AN94 w/ 4x scope, MP443, 40mm grenade, and alt weapons
Engineer – G3 w/ red-dot or 4x, RPG, tracer on heli maps or MP443, and alt weapons
Recon – USAS w/ C4 and MP443. I only use this kit when my team is getting jacked by tanks at the spawn

Still, sometimes I just like to whip my weiner out and run around the map shouting BANZAI! in the microphone. Usually that is good for at least a few points.

actually folks, i have done some testing and "calculations" (im not a nerd), and wat turns out to bethe most effective assault class is – XM8: 4x; Magnum Ammo; MP443(due to fast rate of fire and high power + large magazine which rivals most guns) orthe M16A2 with same set up.The XM8 doesthe highest damage per second of all rifles, two 3-shot bursts makes one dead man. (P.S.,the XM8 will shoot 3 shots in what seems like a single fire shot). as forthe other classes i feel that would be too much to type, for any class suggestions contact me, SwatKiller7.

I roll with the recon class most of the time and I use the M24 with either a M1911 or a MP 443 and either the mortar or C4. and BTW I have the ultimate edition.

6 as recon wit bolt action be patiant dont shoot when you not sure you wil miss always shoot the head if he survive you gonna miss a kill
7 als semi sniper be patiant to butwhen you soot keep shooting til he dies

VSS-RECON, mag ammo a must, default scope n extra clip for staying power, 4 in the head n u know their dead. alwase 4 single shots, rarly need 5 if opponent is using armor perk, never let it roll into full auto unless enemy is right on top of you. Rember, the time it took you to shoot n reload with a M95 bold coulda been better spent wasting 2 people side by side with 8 bulletts in rapid succession or 3 with 12…as far as bolt ide have to say the starter rifel M24 is fastest till u get the T88 then VSS.. m24 is a 50/50 weather u get em in one shot, and it really just depends on how much dmg your team mates have done to him prior or weather you snapped em with a headshot..everytime your eye leaves the scope, then the time spent reloading then the time reaquiring your target again, it adds up!

ASSALT – G3 with mag ammo making it a 4 shot gun like the VSS, and it opens up your c 4 perk to do a little battlefield sculpting for your team knocking out potential obsticals before thay become a problem or a safehaven for the enemy, the iron sights on the G3 work better then any dot !! so now add a little spash dmg to your c 4 and get your team past any tank or chokepoint, c4 works great dropped down hills, rooftops n stuck on ceilings and a good proxcimity killer for a com box if you distance it right, thay spam faster then nades n have a much better kill raidus! too bad thay dont stick to the enemys helmets, let the bee run back to the nest/squad or tank, then BOOM!! but i suppose the bee would notice the extra weight strapped to his head:(                               

RECON – primary - play it rite it will keep u alive – its a good one for your K/D ratio

ASSULT - is your sucide bomber, good when other team flops out a aimbot, or thay r just a little toooo organized, mix it up a little take out their building and equipment or c4 a jerk from top of a building..

Engineer – AWSOME chopper support    (mining, repairing) <– some funkey things goin on with this kit however, alota player abuse with the dart n shoot thingy…

MEDIC – level up really fast, useing it is only time when your team getting raped becomes a dream come true, the ideal starter kit to get a few lvls n global guns unlocked, even more ideal pared up with a suecide bomber assult type, A cuz C4 usually kills the user as well as the enemy, but the enemy inmuch greater numbers if played to its strengths…

as far as cod and bfbc2 compare (thay dont) thay have simularitys in some of the things improvised, even the same theams boom (headshot bi**ch) however the sandbox in bfbc2 is so much bigger and stratagy element is, well leaves so much room for so many other things to happen, forcing some to think before act..
or even react in some cases (r u mad bro) ))

ve played cod, for me it would be like comparing a pokeyman card game where the player was left to draw in his own imaginary win scarnieo by staring at the picture on his card verses see it actually unfold befor your eyes… sure cod u shoot him, thay shoot you blam, blam, blam you shoot her again. a insufferble grind that goes to the person that knows n glitch that tiney little sandbox the best, a little of that applies to battlefield but COD doesnt leave much at all to chance with a vary limited variety of tools and space to use them in.. cod is missing tanks, mounted guns, jeeps, trucks, choppers, APC's,  distructable enviroments to rattle off a few. it would be freakin awsome if cod could compete. a better runner up would be GTA if thay would fix the damn chopper hitbox's n add distruction 2.0!!!   "nough said"  lol

You always have to go with M16A2 with red dot sight and magnum. I also go with the 40mm shotgun underneath.

cod is run and gun bc2 is more team based so you need to try and figure out tactics, easier if u play with friends, but yeah you can always hook up with medic class and go all arnold sw~ on their behinds, thats always fun

I disagree with you, on multiple of your points, for one thing COD isn’t realistic and was never meant to be, BBC2 is designed to be realistic there is no way to compare it, I love BBC2 for the realistic sniper and the vehicles but MW2 is fast pasted and that is why many people enjoy it and equal skill is required in bot, I am not an older gamer BBC was the first FPS I got. I have nothing against BBC2 or MW2 they are both great games for what they designed to do/be.
