Apple iPad: Pre-order today only on Apple Store
By: Peter Chubb | March 12, 2010 | Leave a CommentToday is March 12 – the day that Apple allows customers to pre-order the much-anticipated iPad tablet device. Those in the U.S. are the only ones able to pre-order theirs, and will take delivery on April 3 – as we discussed in a recent article.
There have been many conflicting reports as to the time that pre-orders will start – but I4U has it on good authority that the time will be 8:30am EST. We are certain that the website will get busy as it is the only website taking orders – the Apple Store could even crash.
Amazon had a page up where you could pre-order the iPad tablet – that page has since been removed, confirming that you will only be able to order from the U.S. Apple Store. While visiting their website – we have learned that you can also pick one up from their store come April 3.
