We have some good news for all of you looking to pick up a 3D-capable television set in time for the summer, as Panasonic has just announced that one of their 3D models are now available to buy in the US.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the immediate release in the states is part of a partnership with retailers Best Buy – as they will be offering customers a Panasonic 3D TV bundle containing a 3D Blu-Ray player also.

The bundle is not exactly cheap though, but for $2900 – you’ll get a a 50-inch Panasonic VIERA VT20 Plasma 3D HDTV with 3D glasses, combined with the Panasonic BDT300 3D Blu-ray Disc player.

For the moment, this is US only. Panasonic has not released information regarding a UK release yet – hopefully they will though, as we’re sure a lot of you are interested in this.
