Twitter and Xbox 360: Fable 3 gets social at release
By: Jamie Pert | March 11, 2010 | Leave a CommentWe have recently heard some pretty revolutionary news for the future of gaming, it appears as if when Fable 3 launches on the Xbox 360 it will feature some sort of Twitter integration.
Exactly how this will work is pretty unclear, however with Twitter added to the Xbox 360 back in 2009 it was only a matter of time until we started seeing game developers utilizing the popular social networking service.
The news of Fable 3′s Twitter integration came at GDC 2010, here Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux he recently said “I Twitter now and, you know, I’ve got followers on Twitter. That’s an interesting mechanic, and we integrate that into the Fable experience.”, Molyneux refused to say anything more on the matter, however we can probably expect to hear more soon.
So what do you think folks, do you think this will pave the way for future Twitter integration in gaming?
