
Apple Consumer Support The Best – Consumer Reports
By: Jamie Pert | March 11, 2010 | Leave a CommentRecently Consumer Reports asked their readers who they thought offered the best overall technical support, all in all Apple finished number one scoring well in both laptop technical support and desktop technical support.
3,685 Consumer Reports subscribers ranked Apple number one in terms of laptop technical support, and 3,711 Consumer Reports subscribers ranked Apple number one in terms of desktop technical support.
Consumers were asked to score the companies out of 100 in terms of laptop support, Apple’s average score was 86 which meant consumers were very satisfied with their support, the closest competitor was Lenovo who came in second with a score of just 63.
Consumers were also asked to score the companies out of 100 in terms of desktop support, Apple’s average score was 87 which again meant consumers were very satisfied with their support, the closest competitor was Dell, however they only scored 55.
