If you are a PC gamer and have a strong opinion on the future of your platform, you should definitely check out this very interesting article we have found – in which Valve explain just why PC gaming can withstand the likes of super-consoles such as the PS4 or Xbox 720.

The article in question comes to us courtesy of GamesThirst, which you can read in full here. Basically, they state that the hype over ‘PC gaming dying’ was all caused by “North America press looking at North American reports”.

By this he means, that no-one takes into the account of the PC fanbase in Europe, and often fail to acknowledge the fact that Steam has over 20 million users right now, with a growing total of 260 online PC gamers in the world.

Theres a lot more useful info through the link, check it out. Where do you stand on this debate? Do you think the next iteration of home consoles will kill PC gaming or not?
