Pringles Recall: Complete List of Products Affected

By Peter Chubb - Mar 9, 2010

Following on from the recent recalls of processed food products that contain hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) – a common flavor enhancer – Pringles is the latest recall. The reason behind this is because of a possible salmonella contamination.

The Christian Science Monitor reports that there are two flavors of Pringles affected by this latest recall – Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger and Family Faves Taco Night. There are now 26 brands included in the recall – that number continues to grow almost every day.

Most of the products being recalled because of this possible salmonella contamination is processed foods, these include chips, hot dogs, soups, popcorn and many more. If these foods had to be cooked for some time this would help to kill of salmonella – hot dogs and soups only need reheating so will not be able to kill the harmful bacteria.
