By: Jamie Pert | March 9, 2010 | Leave a CommentEarlier on today we posted an article which looked into what Cisco’s big Internet changing announcement could be, we have now heard that they have announced a new carrier routing system which is called CRS-3.
CRS-3 will act as the foundation for the next-generation of the Internet usage, it will apparently offer more than 12 times the traffic capacity which its closest competitor’s complete system offers.
CRS-3 will feature a capacity of up to 322 Terabits per second, this bandwidth would allow every man, woman and child in China to make simultaneous video calls, also this has the bandwidth to stream every motion picture ever made in just four minutes.
