We have some good news for AT&T customers now, as we’re pleased to confirm that the Motorola Backflip is now available to buy either in-store or online – at a very good price we have to say.
As reported from BGR, the Backflip is AT&T’s very first outing into the world of Android, so if that isnt an extra incentive to go and pick one up -we don’t know what is.
The Motorola Backflip features a 3.1-inch HVGA touch-screen display, Android OS 1.5 (upgradeable to 2.1), 5 megapixel camera, MicroSD slot, Bluetooth, WiFi, aGPS, MOTOBLUR and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Pretty impressive specs arnt they – wait until you see the price. For just $99 after rebate on a two year contract, you’ll be able to take one home today.
Let us know your thoughts on the Backflip, will you be getting one?

I really like the new backflip, and will probably get this weekend. My only reservation is the OS. I am concerned that I will somehow be locked into 1.5. You seem pretty confident that it is upgradable to 2.1. What's your source? I haven't found much that seemed definitive, and it would be great to know for sure. Thanks!
