Battlefield Bad Company 2: Xbox 360 internal system restart to fix server problems

By: Alan Ng | March 8, 2010 | 2 Comments

We have another update on the Battlefield Bad Company 2 server problems to bring you now, as EA has just informed everyone that they will be performing a system restart, which will specifically target the Xbox 360 version.

We told you yesterday that the Xbox 360 seemed to be impacted the most, as a result of the server outages, with many of you still informing us that you are unable to get into any servers.

The latest tweet from EA states that the team will be restarting their systems for the Xbox 360 version, and this will happen at 3:00 AM PST, 11:00 GMT – which is just an hour or so away.

Hopefully once this does happen, everything will be back to normal for Xbox 360 users. No word on a possible fix for the Punkbuster issue affecting PC owners though.

As always, we’ll keep you updated on progress.

Its such a shame i can’t play this game at the moment, I think its one of the best multiplayer games out on the 360 if played with a team that knows what to do and isn’t just sniping, hope they fix it soon!
