PS3′s God of War III: March 2010 NPD List

We have only entered our third month in 2010 and March looks set to be very good when it comes to game releases, such as Fantasy XIII and God of War III. The two titles will do very well and are a continuation of a very good franchise, but how will its NPD list do?

That is certainly a strange question in itself; The Koalition explains that we tend to pay too much attention to the NPD numbers when we should concentrate in the quality instead. However, they do add that when this list is released then God of War III for the Sony PS3 will be at the top, well that or Final Fantasy XIII. Let us not forget that IGN recently gave God of War III a 10/10 score on their review.

The two titles have always been close when it comes to sales; you only have to look back at Final Fantasy XII and God of War II when released on the PS2. The former sold 896,000 units in November 2006; the latter sold 833,000 units in March 2007. Both these NPDs are very close, so we should be in for a great battle this month.
