Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta (Xbox 360): Halo 2 players get special invite and more
By: Alan Ng | March 5, 2010 | 2 CommentsDo you consider yourself to be a loyal Halo fan? More specifically – did you play countless hours of Halo 2? If so, there is a good chance that you’ll be invited into the Multiplayer Beta for Halo Reach on Xbox 360.
As reported from Eurogamer, the beta was previously only accessible to those who received a code from their copy of Halo 3: ODST. But thats not the case, as Microsoft have a treat for all those that ‘qualify’.
Aside from entry into the beta, selected gamers will also receive three free months of Xbox Live Gold membership and 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40/€4.65) on top of that. Nice!
It is thought that this is Microsoft’s way of saying thank you, and sorry, for closing the servers for Halo 2 – which will happen on April 15th.
Microsoft are letting everyone know by email. Let us know if you receive an invite, Good Luck!
