Google Android and AT&T: First handset includes Yahoo search
By: Alan Ng | March 4, 2010 | Leave a CommentIt has been revealed that AT&T’s first Google Android handset, the Motorola Backflip will come equipped with Yahoo search features, even though it will run on Google’s operating system.
As reported from Apple Insider, Yahoo remains Google’s main competitor in the search market department, so this move may seem a little strange for some of you.
However, once the phone is released on March 7th, customers will have the choice to switch to Google for search content, or stick with Yahoo that comes out of the box.
The release of the Backflip now gives AT&T customers the option of Android for the first time, giving them a welcome choice from the iPhone.
