By: Jamie Pert | March 3, 2010 | Leave a CommentSo far at the Geneva Motor Show 2010 we have seen hybrid vehicles from both Porsche and Ferrari, we have now also seen a hybrid-powered version of the popular Audi A8.
The car’s 2.0-liter engine and electric motor combine to give the vehicle 242bhp, apparently this will offer similar power and performance to Audi’s V6 engines.
The electric motor will be capable of speeds of up to roughly 40mph, this will be ideal for use in towns and cities, however the car’s battery will only be able to power the electric motor for up to two kilometers.
The Audi A8 Hybrid should be available towards the end of 2011, as we hear further details we will keep you posted, check out the link below for extremely detailed information.
