Sony PS3: Playstation Network returning to normal service, 8001050F fixed
By: Alan Ng | March 2, 2010 | 17 CommentsDid you enjoy the ride PS3 owners? We are happy to confirm that as of right now (0.13am GMT), the Playstation Network is back up and running normal service, with no apparent loss of user data as predicted.
Looks like Sony stuck to their word and fixed up the problem within 24 hours, good job. Users should now be able to log into PSN with no problems, and thankfully will no longer see the infamous 8001050F error message on their screens.
For those of you who were panicking over trophies and game save data, you can rest assured that nothing has been deleted. We do feel for those that took drastic measures in formatting their PS3′s though – tough luck on that one.
So do us a favor and let us know what your PSN status is like at the moment. It looks like PSN is back up for all regions, and not returning steadily – which is great.
Is everything back to normal for you or not?
