Sony PS3: Heavy Rain takes top spot from Aliens Vs Predator

Following on from its release last week on the PS3, we can confirm that Heavy Rain – the exclusive PS3 thriller, has stormed to the top of the UK All-Formats chart.

As reported from Eurogamer, that of course knocks last weeks number one from the top, Aliens Vs Predator – which is now placed in second.

Despite frequent problems with Heavy Rain, it appears that it hasn’t caused a halt in sales of the game. You can read up on the problems, in our thread here – over 50 comments and counting.

Despite being released an eternity ago it seems, Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 remains in the top 5, whos to say that it wont remain there for the rest of the year – especially with the map packs due out soon!
