Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review: Gameplay and Release Date

During Nintendo’s media summit there were a few games on show, but reviewers only had one game on their minds, and that was Super Mario Galaxy 2. This was the first time that the media had a chance to get a hands-on with the game, so has it been worth the wait?

The second game from the series is much like the first where Mario travels the universe, and jumps from planet to planet defying gravity at the same time. However, this time he will not be alone on his travels, he will have a companion, Yoshi the green dinosaur.

GameSpot in the UK managed to get some hands-on time with the Super Mario Galaxy 2 and thought they would offer up their own review on the game along with what they thought of the gameplay, which you can read here. The release date for the new Nintendo Wii game is May 23, 2010.
