Apple App Store: ‘Explicit’ category – Do you want this? (POLL)

It has been reported that Apple are currently mulling over the idea of including an ‘explicit’ category for applications put forward for release on the App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch.

As reported from Apple Insider, the category had been added for developers to list such relevant apps under this category, but we have now learned that Apple has since removed this ability.

What we do know though, is that the company are still considering this as a possibility for the future, although that this ‘would not happen anytime soon’.

You won’t need us to tell you that there are thousands of ‘explicit’ apps that are in circulation on user’s iPhones at the moment, so it would be interesting to know your opinions on this.

Would you like to see an explicit category on the App Store or not? Vote in our poll below and let us know your reasons.
