We know two things, the first is that Apple are working on iPhone 4.0 OS, and the second is that the rumors of a new iPhone 4G looks to be true. This will give current owners of the Apple smartphone a dilemma, do they stick with their current iPhone 3GS and just opt for the operating system upgrade or do they go ahead and purchase the new 2010 iPhone?
Most iPhone owners are not happy that they sign up for an 18 or 24-month contract when they know that Apple will launch a new model every 12 months. However, this is seen as the only way to afford getting their hands on one.
For those who do have the cash, then they just go ahead and purchase the new model, contract free. Many people that I know have already expressed how they will be one of the first in line to get their hands on the new iPhone 4G when released, hopefully in July. However, I have been informed by a number of friends that they are more than happy with the 3GS apart from a few software and battery performance issues, something that iPhone 4.0 OS should address.
