Recently at the Mobile World Congress 2010 we saw a lot of Android-based handsets which will directly compete up against the Motorola DROID, we have recently heard that Amazon have now reduced the price of their Verizon DROID.
Whether this is a direct result of the recently unveiled handsets is unclear, either way you can now pick up the handset for just $49.99 when purchased as part of a two-year deal. This deal is available for both new and existing Verizon Wireless customers, Amazon’s deal also includes free shipping.
