New iPhone OS 4.0 and Categories/Folders

Details regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 are slowly starting to appear, although none of these details can be guaranteed some of them are looking extremely likely.
From what we can see Apple’s iPhone OS 4.0 stands a good chance of being able to filter and categorize your apps, currently an iPhone / iPod Touch can feature up to 180 apps across 10 pages, therefore it can be quite hard work to remember exactly where each app icon is.
The new OS may feature functionality, which will allow you to put app icons in folders, therefore you could have different folders for games, tools, etc.
If you own a jail-broken handset you may have came across Cydia, this software allows much simpler browsing of applications and allows you to put apps in certain directories.
Would you like to be able to filter/categorize apps in iPhone 0S 4.0?
