Sony’s CyberShot TX1: The world’s thinnest waterproof camera
By: Alan Ng | February 18, 2010 | 1 CommentWe have some great news for fans of Sony’s popular Cybershot Series now, as the company has just announced and unveiled the Cybershot TX5 – billed as the ‘world’s thinnest and smallest waterproof camera’.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the camera is clearly aimed for those looking for a more ‘rugged’ piece of kit, as the camera has water, dust, shock and freeze-proof resistance. Freeze-proof, really??
It will take shots with a 10.2 megapixel sensor, while other features include 720p HD recording, 3-inch touchscreen LCD, 4x Optical Zoom and a 25mm wide angle Carl Zeiss lens.
It will be available in a choice of colorful skins, but no word on a release date yet – we’ll keep you updated when we hear more.
