Samsung’s Super OLED: More pixels, inches and battery life
By: Jamie Pert | February 16, 2010 | Leave a CommentRecently at the Mobile World Congress Samsung took the chance to unveil their new Super OLED displays, these displays sound as if they offer vast improvements when compared to standard OLED displays.
One major complaint with standard OLED displays is that they are extremely hard to view in outdoor conditions, super OLED displays are said to rectify this problem.
Another improvement is that a 3.3 inch display will feature a resolution of 800×480, from what we can see super OLED displays may also be available in larger sizes than standard OLEDs.
Chances are we will begin seeing these super OLED displays in future handsets and possibly portable media players, as we hear of devices featuring super OLED displays we will keep you posted.
