First Final Fantasy XIII Commercial: Xbox 360 Only

There have been so many non-English speaking commercials for Final Fantasy XIII, but we were treated to the first English speaking commercial during the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. The reason for this was because the Xbox 360 game developed by Square Enix was sponsoring the event.

The reason that we mentioned only the Xbox 360 above was the fact that only the Microsoft games console was the only version mentioned. The commercial highlighted that there is to be a Special Edition Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 Bundle, only time will tell if Sony will launch a Limited Edition PS3.

Below you will see the First English Final Fantasy XIII Commercial; well you might have not been concentrating too much on it last night as your mind might have been on the NBA game. The PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game will be launched on March 9, 2009.

    Time for YOU to get YOUR facts straight. Square said the 360 version is gimped to fit DVD. LOL Everything is compressed and at lower resolution, textures AND pre-rendered video. Look at the comparisons.

    Modern Warfare on BOTH 360 AND PS3 aren’t even HD, 720 lowerst HD standard. Reac activision’s press conference explaining this. Uncharted is 720p NATIVE and it still looke better than anything on the 360, same goes for KZ2, MGS4, and I can list more

    Craddle your FixMe60. LOL I don’t like FF but I laugh at fanboys who don’t know squat. Do a simple google search or look up wikipedia.

    Theirs a difference between true 1080p quality and upscaled 1080p dumb@ss, all those 360 games that say are 1080p are only upscaled, their have only been 2 true 1080p games this gen with 1 coming next month and all of the 3 are exclusive to the PS3 they are MGS4, Killzone 2 and the long awaited God Of War III

    yeh but xbox upscales to 1080i all games, the ps3 plays games in whatever resolution they were made in. The ps3 is uncompressed onto a full bluy ray while the xbox is heavily compressed (some sources suggest on 4 disks and 576p resolution which will be upscaled to 1080). effectively the the game is made on the ps3 and ported onto the xbox so will be better on the ps3. However, even after compression i very doubt and noticible differences will exist.

    and by the way mgs and killzone are 720, not native 1080p (i have them both..search it if you care that much) but still visually unbelievable. Native 1080p is more for the next generation of consoles
