Twitter Stats: It’s growing fast

Are you getting bored of Twitter? Even if you are, it doesnt look as if the website is in danger of losing popularity, after new figures published showed that Twitter is continuing to grow fast in 2010.

As reported from Mashable, Twitter surpassed more than 1.2 billion tweets in January alone. Whats even more staggering is that from January 09′ to January 10′, tweets increased by more than 16x.

What this basically means is that Twitter remains a hot piece of properly on the internet – have you noticed that practically every website you visit on the net today, contains some kind of Twitter interface located by the content?
