Robot News: NASA and General Motors are working together

We have some interesting news for Robot fanatics now, as it has been reported that NASA are working closely alongside car giants General Motors, on the next generation of robots designed for use in the aerospace and automotive industries.

As reported from Kokomoperspective, pictures of a new humanoid robot have been published, which has been the result of hard work from engineers and scientists from both NASA and GM.

These new robots feature vision and sensor technologies, meaning that they are able to work alongside people, to assist them on certain tasks relating to NASA and General Motor’s field of work.

Both companies think that this is a breakthrough in robot technology, with NASA’s Doug Cooke stating: “This cutting-edge robotics technology holds great promise, not only for NASA, but also for the nation.”
