New iPhone on Verizon in 2010: When bloggers waffle

By Posted 8 Feb 2010, 17:09

Are you critical of most iPhone Verizon rumors? We have seen a few blogs that tend to write a lot without actually making important points. A rumor should be reported, but what about those many phone / blog sites you come across that tend to waffle?

Take this article here over at Phones Review for example. They touch upon the issue that most of us have already known for months, as we all know that the possibility of Verizon releasing an iPhone is getting slimmer by the day, and even more so now, after the release of the new iPad tablet.

Still though, the rumor mill continues to churn out Verizon iPhone news daily, so I’m guessing that most of you take ongoing news with a pinch of salt, as I’m sure a lot of you have already had your hopes dashed with previous speculation.

Have a read of their article in full, then let us know what you think of it. Are you a fan of hearing the same news repeated over and over again, or do you prefer to be kept informed of solid rumors and leaks?

WHY DONT AT&T AND VERIZON SHARE THE IPHONE SERIOUSLY THEY WILL NEVER LEARN. VERIZON IS ALRIGHT BUT AY&T WONT EVER LEARN. :(

It makes sense that Apple’s iPad would only be with AT&T when originally launched. Apple isn’t stupid, announcing a VZ iPad on 1/27 would have for sure hinted at a VZ iPhone… which likely won’t show up until Q3 of 2010. If Apple hinted at a VZ iPhone as early as Jan. 2010, they wouldn’t be selling any iPhones with AT&T for the entire Q1 and Q2 because everyone would be holding out for the VZ iPhone. That’s just bad business.

Of course Apple would come out and say good things about AT&T recently. Don’t forget that they’re still in bed together. Has anyone of these bloggers taken any business classes what-so-ever?! Until the exclusivity deal between Apple and AT&T is officially over (remember… summer of 2010… NOT February) it is in Apple’s best interests to not discuss any deals being made with any other carriers.

Calm down interweb gossip! Patience… the iPhone will be on other carriers… just chill… it’s only February!

A bit of calling the pot black here isn’t it? For example are you not doing exactly the same thing with this post? Turning it round to your own requirements? Or are you including yourself in the “bloggers waffle” title? Because all you have done here is simply rehash the old news about a Verizon iPhone and used another blogger’s post to substantiate your post.

All these site get what info they can and report on it, exactly like you do, so what’s the difference?
