Microsoft Zune HD: Updated Pricing Details
By: Jamie Pert | February 8, 2010 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft have recently cut the prices of their popular Zune HD portable media players, it is however unclear as to whether or not this change is permanent or just a temporary promotion.
The Zune HD 16GB model is now just $190 on Amazon, whereas the 32GB model is now just $250, prior to this the 16GB model would have cost you $219.99 and the 32GB model would have cost you $289.99.
It is thought that other retailers will follow Amazon’s lead and reduce their prices, Microsoft’s own store has reduced their prices but are $10-$20 more expensive then Amazon.
Currently Apple have their iPod Touch’s at $199 for the 8GB model, $299 for the 32GB model and $399 for the 64GB model. As you can see the price of Microsoft’s 32GB Zune HD is now better value then Apple’s 32GB iPod Touch.
