
FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa: Release Date Officially Announced
By: Jamie Pert | January 28, 2010 | 4 CommentsEvery four years EA Sports announce a game to tie in with the FIFA World Cup, this year is no exception as EA have recently officially announced that they will be releasing FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa.
The game will be coming to Sony’s PlayStation 3, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the PSP, the U.S. release date is said to be April 27th, whereas Europe and Asia will have to wait until April 30th.
Details regarding the PSP version have not been revealed, however other versions should feature all 199 qualifying round national teams.
The game will also feature all ten official South African event stadiums along with an online World Cup mode, this mode will take you from the qualifying rounds to the final.
It is thought that the Wii version of the game will be quite different from the PS3 and 360 versions, instead of featuring life-like graphics it will feature a ‘cartoony’ graphics, for more information check out JoyStiq.
