Yesterday we got just what we expected, a new Apple tablet that has been named “iPad” and while the result has been met with cheers and complaining, with a track record that Apple has it’s sure to be a success.
The Apple iPad exact release date was not released yesterday, but Apple did confirm a release some time in late March for Wi-Fi models and shipping in April for 3G models. At first it was believed that this was only for the United States, and around June would be the UK release. Today we find out this was not the case.
You can see on the official UK Apple site that the iPad is now live, and Apple clearly states that the UK “Wi-Fi models” are shipping in late March, followed by “3G models shipping in April”. They also say that the UK pricing is to be announced but some rumors claim at a £300 to £400 price (pretty good at that price point in the UK).
